Surrounded by centuries-old forest and overlooked by the Italian Alps, the Royal Park I Roveri golf club, member of the prestigious associations World of Leading Golf as well as IAGTO, is regarded as one of Europe’s premier inland venues, where good climate conditions allow golfer to play all year round. Founded by the Agnelli family – which still manages the venue – the golf club boasts two unique 72-par championship courses: Trent Jones Sr., a “Park Land” named after his architect and inaugurated in 1971, and Pramerica, a “Links” inaugurated in 2013, the first private course Michael Hurdzan and Dana Frey designed in Europe.

Royal Park I Roveri Golf Club features a driving range with natural grass, a wide range of facilities for both members and guests and as well as a renowned restaurant. The golf club is just 15-minute drive from Turin Caselle Airport and 30 minutes-drive from the Turin centre, an elegant combination of ancient buildings, finest Baroque architecture, art nouveau and contemporary structures. The 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr.  in 1971 features bunkers, hazards and green preserving the charming natural landscape. Against a backdrop of stunning mountain scenery, the player confronts the first of many water ditches and small lakes, instrumental in making this a challenging but fair test of golf. The natural setting with crossing torrents and the possibility of close encounters with the protected wildlife of the park make the golf experience even more extraordinary.

The new 18 - hole Pramerica course is the first one designed by the American architects Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry in Europe. It represents a successful example of joining golf and nature into a unique landscape. The design intent was not to match the more mature Jones Sr. Course, but rather to complement it through a relatively flat open course where the constructed ponds and bunkering are used as principle hazards.


The driving range, 280 mt. long and 100 mt. wide, has 30 synthetic grass positions and several covered positions, two of them with front mirrors equipped. It also offers a natural grass practice area on three levels with 100 mt wide markers and a pitch and put area with bunlers, two green targets and a useful lenght sign system. The putting green boasts 36 holes.

La Venaria Reale is a grandiose estate just outside Turin. In comprises 80,000 square meters of floor surface in the Reggia and 60 hectares of Gardens, adjacent to the 17th century ancient village of Venaria and the 3,000 fenced hectares of the Park of La Mandria. It is a natural and architectural masterpiece that was declared part of the World Heritage by UNESCO in 1997. The monumental palace or Reggia boasts some of the finest examples of universal Baroque: the elegant Hall of Diana designed by Amedeo di Castellamonte, the solemn Great Gallery and the Church of St. Hubert, the imposing complex of the Juvarra Stables designed by Filippo Juvarra in the 18th century, the sumptuous decorations and the spectacular Fountain of the Stag in the Court of Honor and the spectacular Fountain of the Stag in the Court of Honor provide a unique setting for the Theater of History and Magnificence, the permanent display - almost 2,000 m long - devoted to the House of Savoy, that spans from the basement level to the piano nobile of the Reggia.
